Grab your crew and head to the mountains for this legendary, one-day-only throwback ski showdown!

📅 WHEN: Sunday, March 16, 2025
📍 WHERE: Plumas Ski Bowl at Plumas Eureka State Park, near Johnsville and Graeagle, CA
🎟 TICKETS: FREE! But get there early—parking is tight!

GRAEAGLE, CA • March 14, 2025— Mother Nature just dropped a powdery gift, and you know what that means—THE LONGBOARD RACES ARE ON! After weeks of uncertainty, the legendary World Championship Longboard Revival Race is officially happening. If you’ve never witnessed this wild, old-school spectacle, now’s your chance!

These aren’t your typical ski races. Forget the high-speed lifts and groomed runs of Tahoe—at Plumas Eureka Ski Bowl, it’s all about the pioneer spirit. Racers will be decked out in 1860s-style attire, strapping into towering 9-16 foot handmade wooden skis, and hoofing it up the hill on foot before launching themselves down the mountain with nothing but gravity and pure guts. When the gong sounds, it’s every skier for themselves, and only the fastest (and luckiest) will take home medals, bragging rights, and eternal mountain glory.

THE FUN STARTS EARLY!

Kick off the weekend with the Ronin Borealis Music Series featuring DJs Fox&Buck on Saturday night, March 15. Get ready for an aurora borealis-themed snow dance party at Ronin Fermentation Project (601 Graeagle Johnsville Road). The first 50 beer lovers who show up at 7 PM will score a free “I Regret Nothing” beer glass. Must be 21+ to attend.

Then, on Sunday, get ready for the main event—the Longboard Revival Race!
